GALLERY WALL IDEAS YOU SHOULD TRY!

“Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love.” NATE BERKUS

Hello to my Lovely reader,

Welcome back! Hope you had a great week.. 🙂

It was great to have you in our last Blog-post “Best Stores to Buy Beautiful Tableware Online”, and thank you for all your love and support !! 🙂

Have a blank wall for a long time? And thinking what could really add interest to your space? Try the Gallery wall!.. It has been the simplest way to give a blank wall some interest. When in space crunch make use of vertical space, you can think of transforming walls to a gallery wall and instantly add character to your space. This wall idea is great for people who stay in rented space, just few pictures on the wall with a dark base and you are set with space full of memories.

A great conversation starter, Gallery walls can bring in color and character to the space lived in.

Let’s check out some ideas that will instantly add the required drama to any space you are thinking of needs some extra love..

1. Abstract Placement

With abstract composition, it is more casual looking and undoubtedly can pull attention of your visitor. There are many ways you can achieve abstract composition for your gallery wall, but the main thing is you need to be happy with what it looks like to you before executing it.

Tip: Draw the basic arrangement on a piece of paper, cut them to the size of your picture frames and place it on the wall before nailing. This will save you the time and wall from those unnecessary nail damages if you wish to change your mind with the placements of any. Play around with the arrangement until you find yourself satisfied to go ahead with.

2. Grid Placement

This arrangement is the safest if you are in a rush to pull up a gallery wall without putting in many efforts. Measure the area where you want the arrangement, understand the numbers of rows and columns you would want to go for, and work accordingly with frames and the space between them.

Print, Arrange, Nail, Hang, and you are done! Enjoy.. 😉

Tip: Grid arrangement looks perfect with balanced void on all side, so make sure you leave equal space on either sides of the arrangement and equal space in-between the grid too.

3. Polaroids Collage

People who love their Polaroid moments. This one is for you..

Work desk, Inspiration wall, Gallery wall, these films can be perfect way to display your moments of life in one space all at once. Check out the inspirations below

4. Picture Ledge

Picture ledge is basically a shelf, not deep enough to store regular display items. It is specifically made to rest books or picture frames onto wall for a cleaner look. It is available in many sizes to fit in any space.

Tip: If you are thinking for a gallery wall for your powder room this option is recommended, to save you extra nailing onto the tiled wall. Because we know how tiles react to drilling.. 😉

Note: Any arrangement you go for, make sure every photograph shares the same filter, to get a sync with each connected frame in the composition for a pleasing experience. Example, you could go black and white, or a specific color filter in every picture to get a blend in your overall setup. 🙂

I love me some Pictures around the house, that takes me back to the time and feels grateful to have experienced it..  If you are one like me, try the Gallery wall ideas shared above and let me know what you feel about them in the comment section below. 🙂 See you around!!
