Wardrobe Interiors are as important as the wardrobe itself. Wardrobe interiors allow us to stay De-cluttered and helps us organize our favorite clothes, shoes and accessories in such a way that ensures they are perfectly presented and easy to locate.
This effortless experience needs a close attention on how you like organizing your clothes. There are varies ways to do so, it could be hung, folded, or rolled. The proper use of interior storage systems for wardrobes can help you achieve maximum utilization of space.
Following are the standard storage systems that are used in different arrangements to suit individuals requirement. Let’s take a close look and understand which ones could help you remain organized through and through. Combination of these systems may vary from person to person, as every one prefers a very personal way of staying organized.
Note: Major items mentioned here could be familiar, as per the requirement of the content you may find it being discussed for better clarity.
Shelves are the most versatile storage systems that are used outside and even inside wardrobes to suffice our daily storage requirements around the house. You can have any number of shelves in your wardrobe, but ideally we see top and bottom shelf (full length) and/or mid shelves where the sizes could vary as per need. Location of the shelf(s) depends on the way an individual would like to use it. You could store your clothes, shoes and accessories that are very frequently used, for a convenient grab and go option.
2. Hanger Bars
This is the most used storage system for wardrobes. We all love to hang clothes for various reasons, easy to compare and choose, helps us avoid creasing of clothes and most importantly for increase in storage. It can be arranged as single, double or triple, depending on the way you prefer hanging your clothes.
Tip: If you are unsure of the length of your clothes, don’t hesitate to get that measured before finalizing the location of hanging bars. Keep a gap of 2 inches minimum between end of the fabric and start of the bottom shelf. 🙂
3. Drawer Unit
For a semi-open or open arrangement, drawer units come in real handy to keep the Knick-Knacks, or small clothing items in a much organized way. Drawer is again a versatile storage system that helps to store loose items as it is, or further compartment it using dividers and take your organization to another level. The height of the drawer could be customized in accordance to its usage and what you plan to store in it.
4. Trouser Rack
It helps to organize your trousers in place neatly. It could hold Jeans, Chinos, and suit trousers for a more convenient wardrobe experience. If you have space, do think of getting this fitted as it can really inspire you to stay organized and clutter free all year round! Not only that, it helps you take care of the fabric and is ideally to be given a space in the wardrobe. It can increase the life span of your clothing with less tugging and pulling because of the way it is well separated from each other. 🙂
5. Shoe Rack
It is an optional requirement, totally depends on how you would like to organize your items. If you prefer having your shoes stored in the same place as your clothing, then shoe rack is what you’d need.
If space permits, it would be great to have your laundry basket inside your wardrobe for a neat and de-cluttered space outside 😉
Arrangements of above mentioned storage systems in different layouts can help you stay organized and have a place for every item you own. Combining specific storage systems or having them all personalized in your wardrobe (If space permits), will lead to optimum utilization of space. The combinations of the above mentioned storage systems could be many, you need to be clear with the organizing pattern beforehand to get the best of your available space. 🙂
Apart from that, make sure you get rid of items that no more serves you, to make space for new ones. Only, then your storage system can really help you all year round! Also, if you would want to learn more about “How to De-Clutter in Style” Click HERE!
